1213 1213 Avery fine George III mahogany Bureau Cabinet, the moulded centre domed cornice with a carved gilded Spencer crest finial and turned finials to the sides, the glazed central arched door enclosing pigeon holes, twenty- three drawers and a central mir-ror panel cupboard, flanked by five graduated drawers to each side, the bureau with a sloping fall opening to reveal a fitted inte-rior of ten drawers and a gilt- tooled leather writing surface, above twoshortand three long graduated drawers on acanthus leaf capped ogee bracket feet. Afine Louis XVI mahogany, rosewood banded and boxwood strung Secretaire en abbatant, the black granite top above tapered ormolu mounted turned columns and two drawers and three faux drawers enclosing a fall front opening to reveal a fitted desk with a tooled leather writing surface, above three further drawers all applied with fine ormolu escutcheons and drop handles, on turned, tapering and brass capped legs. The original has a label beneath the marble top reading ' Monsieur Tagini'.
