Days 3-4 PueblaStart the day with a ride on one ofMexico's colourful buses to Puebla. Soak up the city's colonial charm,visit the market for handicrafts, try some mouth-watering molepoblano or head out for an optional hike to Puebla's nearbyvolcano. Days 5-7 OaxacaPeruse Oaxaca's main plaza and take inthe cosmopolitan atmosphere. Head out to the impressive Zapotecruins of Monte Alban. Satisfy culinary cravings by sampling Oaxaca'sfamous chocolate and cheese. The more adventurous may want totry the local delicacies - chocolate-covered grasshopper or mescal,complete with a worm at the bottom of the bottle. Day 3 Tulum - ChetumalAfter an early start we reach Tulum, where crumbling Mayan ruinscling to the cliff top overlooking the beach; absolutely stunning. Westay overnight in the town of Chetumal, close to the Belize border. Days 4-5 Caye Caulker Belize City is our departure point for palm-fringed Caye Caulker. The Caye is a sand island on the edge of theworld's second largest barrier reef. We enjoy swimming, diving andsnorkelling amongst beautiful tropical fish and coral.Days 6-7 Flores - Tikal Ruins After returning to Belize City, wehead across the border into Guatemala and the town of Flores. VisitTikal, the Mayan ruins in the Guatemalan jungle, then catch theovernight bus to Guatemala City and on to Antigua.Days 8-10 AntiguaAntigua is amongst the oldest and mostbeautiful towns in the Americas, set in a valley encircled by threevolcanoes. Our leader will show us the highlights and lead us to thesummit of a nearby volcano. Our trip ends in the morning of Day 10.
