The colonialtown and the nearby Valle de Los Ingenios (Valley of the Sugar Mills)have been declared World Heritage sites. Day 11 Santa ClaraWetravel to Santa Clara, where the dictator Batista surrendered to CheGuevara in 1958. This is a big sugar-producing town and it's alsohome to one of the country's biggest universities.
