The remainder of the day is free for further exploration, before we board the overnight train for Hue.Day 3 / Hue In our own time, we can wander through the city's massive citadel and the ruins of the Purple Forbidden City, before heading into the surrounding countryside on bikes and exploring the tombs of Vietnam's last emperors.Day 4-5 / Hoi An We discover the charms of Hoi An - the old town's narrow streets still retain remnants of Japanese, Portuguese, Dutch and Chinese influence. There is a great beach not far from town and, a bit further on, the world-famous China Beach and Marble Mountain.Day 6-8 / Nha Trang We take a day cruise on the crystal clear waters that surround Nha Trang's offshore islands before tucking into a delicious seafood lunch.
