There's time to discover some of the rich archaeological sites and to swim in the Caribbean's warm waters.Day 5-6 / Santa Marta - Bogota We return to Santa Marta, where we have time to explore the city before flying to Bogota.Day 7-8 / Bogota Bogota is home to many colonial era churches, large plazas and great museums. Apart from being the financial centre of the nation, it also has some of South America's best nightlife.Day 9 / Bogota - Zipaquira - Vila de Leyva We depart early for the village of Villa de Leyva, stopping at Zipaquira to visit the ancient salt mines and the incredible salt cathedral. Day 3 / Buenos Aires - El Chalten Today we take a short flight south to El Calafate, where we transfer to El Chalten in the rugged Patagonian highlands, our base for exploring Los Glaciares National Park. Day 4-5 / Laguna del los Tres - Laguna Torre We spend the next two days trekking in this stunning region. We make our way to the beautiful Laguna de Los Tres and Laguna Torre, where we enjoy breathtaking views of Fitz Roy Massif and Cerro Torre. Day 6 / El Calafate - Perito Moreno Glacier Today we venture to the awe-inspiring Perito Moreno Glacier. Day 7-8 / Torres del Paine We cross into Chile and travel through the southern pampas to the spectacular Torres del Paine National Park.
