There's time to discover some of the rich archaeological sites and to swim in the Caribbean's warm waters.Day 5-6 / Santa Marta - Bogota We return to Santa Marta, where we have time to explore the city before flying to Bogota.Day 7-8 / Bogota Bogota is home to many colonial era churches, large plazas and great museums. Apart from being the financial centre of the nation, it also has some of South America's best nightlife.Day 9 / Bogota - Zipaquira - Vila de Leyva We depart early for the village of Villa de Leyva, stopping at Zipaquira to visit the ancient salt mines and the incredible salt cathedral.
