DAY 2 / CAIRO - Visit the Egyptian Museum see the treasures of Tutankhamun and the royal mummies, including Ramses II. We then visit the famous Pyramids and Sphinx before hopping on the exciting sleeper train to Aswan. DAY 3 / ASWAN - Get bartering in the colourful Aswan bazaar! This afternoon we take a camel ride in the desert as well as a traditional felucca cruise amongst the islands. DAY 4 / ASWAN - There is time for an optional visit to the dramatic temple of Abu Simbel before we board our Nile cruise boat. DAY 5 / NILE CRUISE - Cruising down the Nile is simply the best way to experience Egyptian life as well as visiting various temples en route. We tour Komombo and Edfu temples today. DAY 6 / LUXOR - Arrive in Luxor. Enjoy an horse-drawn carriage ride to the mighty Karnak Temple complex. DAY 7 / LUXOR - Cross the Nile to visit the celebrated Valley of the Kings as well as the beautiful Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon.
