Day 2 / Blyde River Canyon Region Leaving Pretoria we drive to the historic town of Graskop. Day 3-4 / Kruger National Park Heading into the lowveld, we enter the famous Kruger National Park. We explore and search for wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives. Day 5-6 / Tshipse Hot Springs - Great Zimbabwe Ruins Driving north, we are rewarded by the relaxing hot springs found at Tshipse. From here we continue into Zimbabwe. Day 7-8 / Antelope Park The 3000 acres of Antelope Park - famous for its collection of lions! Day 9-10 / Hwange National Park Hwange National Park, covering nearly 15,000 square kilometres, is home to vast herds of elephant, buffalo, zebra, giraffe and many of the predators. Over two days we take game drives through this amazing park in open safari vehicles. Day 11-13 / Victoria Fals (Zimbabwe) Victoria Falls is known by the local Kololo tribe as Mosi-oa-Tunya, 'the smoke that thunders'. Day 14-15 / Chobe National Park We explore all facets of the park, beginning with an early morning game drive in open-sided 4WD vehicles. Day 16-19 / Sepupa - Okavango Delta Exploring this wildlife-rich region is a sublime experience. We spend a night in Sepupa, then a few nights in the Okavango Delta. Riding a speedboat along the river, we look out for hippos and crocodiles before travelling by mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe) to our bush camp on a remote island. We also spend a night on a houseboat.Day 20-21 / Etosha National Park An incredible diversity of mammal and bird life congregating at the drinking spots. Day 22 / Otjitotongwe Cheetah Park Proceed to Kamanjab and Otjitotongwe Lodge for close-up encounters with the rare and beautiful cheetah. Day 23 / Himba Vilage - Twyfelfontein - Spitzkope We stop to visit the Himba people and experience some of their unique way of life. Sleep under a blanket of millions of stars at thecommunity-run campsite of Spitzkoppe Day 24-25 / Cape Cross - Swakopmund See the largest seal colony in Africa, before continuing to Swakopmund. Day 26-27 / Namib-Naukluft National Park - Sossusvlei Explore the beautiful 'vleis' (inland lakes) as well as the spectacular Sesriem Canyon. Day 28 / Fish River Canyon Day 29 / Orange River An optional afternoon canoe trip is a great way to take in the scenery and absorb the serenity. Day 30-32 / Winelands - Cape Town We drive south toward the fabled Winelands area of the Western Cape. If you plan to do any of the adrenalin-charged activities on offer in this adventure capital, we recommend you arrive a couple of days before the trip begins. Day 2-3 / Hwange National Park We drive east to Hwange National Park, where our camp is situated on the edge of the park. Morning and afternoon game drives in an open vehicle provide our first wildlife experiences. Day 4-5 / Antelope Park Visiting Antelope Park, a private reserve located near Bulawayo, you will have the chance to walk with lion cubs, go game-viewing atop an elephant or even swim with these majestic animals. Day 6-7 / Great Zimbabwe Ruins - Tshipse Hot Springs The Great Zimbabwe Ruins is a series of imposing enclosures, surrounded by great stone walls over an area of several square kilometres. After exploring the site, we continue to South Africa for a relaxing break at the outdoor hot spring pools of Tshipse. Day 8-9 / Kruger National Park We visit Kruger National Park for two days of game viewing. This park covers an area of 21,497 square kilometres and is home to 500 species of birds and 146 different types of mammals. We spend two nights camping within the park and are given the option to take an evening game drive in an open safari vehicle. Day 10 / Blyde River Canyon Blyde River Canyon is reputedly the world's largest green canyon. After exploring the canyon and absorbing the breathtaking scenery of the area, we reach our campsite perched on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the Kruger lowveld. Day 11-12 / Pilgrim's Rest - Pretoria/Johannesburg Today we journey through Pilgrim's Rest, a town which has been reconstructed as a living museum. We travel through the Panorama region towards Pretoria, where a beautiful campsite awaits us for our final night.
