Day 2-3 / Lusaka - Chipata Travelling further into Zambia, our next stop is the bustling capital city of Lusaka. We then continue to Chipata - gateway to the renowned South Luangwa National Park. Day 4-5 / South Luangwa National Park A remote location and an abundance of wildlife to experience during morning and afternoon game drives, with an optional night drive available. Day 6 / Lilongwe Leaving South Luangwa National Park, we cross into Malawi and spend a night sampling African city life in its capital, Lilongwe. Day 7-9 / Lake Malawi We continue to magnificent Lake Malawi - the third largest lake in Africa and home to memorable African sunsets and pristine beaches. Day 10-11 / Iringa - Dar es Salaam We travel to the Swahili-speaking nation of Tanzania through mountainous countryside abundant with tea and banana plantations, before continuing to our seaside campsite at Dar es Salaam. Day 12 / Stone Town (Zanzibar) Saying farewell to the truck for the next few days, we take the morning ferry to the spice island of Zanzibar, where we explore evocative Stone Town - a historic treasure trove of narrow winding streets and buildings with magnificently impressive doors. Day 13-14 / Nungwi (Zanzibar) We transfer to the village of Nungwi on the northernmost point of Zanzibar. Day 15 / Dar es Salaam A ferry takes us back to Dar es Salaam, where we are reunited with our overland vehicle. Day 16-17 / Arusha - School of St Jude - Mto Wa Mbu Arriving in Tanzania's 'safari capital', Arusha, we wander through town and visit the School of St Jude, which aims to 'fight poverty through education' and provides free schooling and support for some of the poorest children in the region. Day 18 / Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti National Park Transferring to 4WD vehicles, we drive down to the floor of Ngorongoro Crater, where we spend the morning exploring this world famous wildlife sanctuary.Day 19 / Serengeti National Park The Serengeti is home to more than three million large mammals spread over endless plains. We enjoy marvellous wildlife viewing all around us, with our camp set right in the heart of the animal-rich plains. Day 20 / Serengeti National Park - Arusha After our final game drive in the Serengeti, we make our way back to Arusha and spend a final night in Tanzania. Day 21 / Nairobi We cross into Kenya and travel to the capital city of Nairobi, where our tour ends on arrival.
