We've been working in the Aosta Valley for over 28 years,so it's a place that we know like the back of our hands and absolutelylove. We've found that it's the perfect place to take school andcollege trips for a number of very good reasons..It's one of the closest overland snowsport areas to the UK - the journey from Calais by coach can take as little as 10 hours..All its ski resorts are at high altitude and have superb snow records. They all have areas that are perfect for beginners to find their ski legs safely and securely, but also offer plenty to keep more advanced skiers challenged and entertained..It's home to four of Europe's highest mountains, including Mont Blanc which stands at the head of the valley - the scenery is truly spectacular..It's a geographically and historically fascinating area. As well as spectacular mountains you'll find hot springs, fortified castles and beautiful hillside villages whilst the town of Aosta itself boasts moreRoman ruins than any Italian town outside Rome..It boasts a unique mix of Italian and French cultures, and its peopleare warm, friendly and welcoming with a relaxed and easy going approach to life. We love them, and we're sure you will too.06THEAosta Valley Travelling by coach is the simplest and easiest way to reachthe Aosta Valley. There is no lengthy check-in, no risk of flight delays, no lost baggage,no lost students, no anti-social flight times, no security hassles andthe carbon footprint is small.
