The underground river of Kong Lor R ated by many travellers as the most charming country in South- East Asia, Laos has largely managed to preserve its traditional way of life. From Luang Prabang, a World Heritage site and one of the region's most attractive towns, we trek into the homeland of a number of colourful hilltribes, such as the Khmu.
