Trekking and riding on elephant- back, we visit a number of hilltribe villages in this area, staying overnight in a village house. We then follow the ' Sky Road' through dramatic mountain scenery to Um Phang, close to the Burmese border. Here, within a unique landscape of jungle- clad crags and amazing multi- tiered waterfalls, we follow forest trails and use inflatable rafts as we journey between the isolated villages of the Karen people.
