54COMMISSIONING AND TRAINING PACKAGESGetting the equipment set correctly for the environment in whichthey will be operated is vital. Warewashing equipment should not beconsidered as plug and play. All machines will require chemical dosing to be set correctly,machines cannot be supplied ready adjusted to cope with thedifferent concentrations of chemicals, different water quality anddeal efficiently with the different products they have to wash. Early staff training is highly recommended to achieve maximumproductivity from staff and equipment. Many warewashing machines have been supplied by Maidaid Halcyon®to sites where the ordering of additional product racks would haveresulted in a smoother introduction of the new equipment. Conditions and requirements *Commisioning: Machine must have been installed to a suitable standard and be ready to run. If an unsafe or unacceptable installation is found commisioning will not be attemptedand no credit of charges for package one will be made. **Training: Machines must be available as for commisioning and it must be assured that all staff to be trained are available at the prearranged time. Trainers cannot be asked todelay training beyond the agreed start time.
