ISANDS Blessing of Remembrance takes place in Glasnevin Cemetery at the Old Angels Memory Garden onlyon the 30th May 2010 at 3 pm. ISANDS Blessing of Remembrance & Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in association with Glasnevin Trust takes place in Glasnevin Cemetery at the New Angles Graves onlyonDecember 12th December 2010 at 4pm. This year we have decided to hold two Blessings of Remembrance in Glasnevin Cemetery. The fi rst takes place in May at the Old Angels Memory Garden where we will have parents, family and friends taking part whose babies are buried in both the old and the new burial areas. We hope you will all come along and join in our special way of remembering ALL the children buried in Glasnevin. As many of you will know, the proposed work on the New Angels graves is due to start in April/May of this year. For that reason and obviously for the health and safety of managing a large crowd on the day we have postponed our Blessing at the New Angels graves until December, this will also incorporate the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. It will be lovely to have two special days in the cemetery and we hope that parents and families who have babies buried anywhere in Glasnevin or indeed in any cemetery will attend both our Blessings of Remembrance.isands newsletter3 Odharnait Kiernan will host a Make Up Master Class in aid of ISANDS and more importantly in memory of her daughter, Freya. Some of you will know Freya's Mum from the ISANDS Forum, she has been sharing her experience of life without her beautiful daughter Freya since last October.
