The Trustees of Glasnevin Cemetery invited families to the Lighting of the Christmas Tree erected at the Angles Graves.Fr. Michael Shiels P.P. from St. Nicholas of Myra Church, Francis Street opened the short ceremony with a few words of prayer and reflection. Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. John Green, Chief Executive, Mr. George Mr. Cullough and Grounds Manger, Philip Ryan were there to welcome families.Small gifts were given out to be placed on the tree or taken home and everyone lit a candle and placed it around the tree.We all listened to Silent Night and shed a tear. It was beautiful and thanks to the Management and Staff of Glasnevin Cemetery for giving us the opportunity to be there and take part. The tree looked lovely and everyone seemed to be very appreciative of the welcome gesture from Glasnevin Management.Parents and Families gather for the lighting of the Christmas Tree at the Angles graves in Glasnevin CemeteryJimmy PurdyGrace Kelly
