Our trek leaders A number of our trips are led by Mountain Kingdoms Appointed Leaders (see page 3.) Between them, these leaders have led hundreds of mountain treks and tours and have travelled to all parts of the globe. Collectively they represent an enormous fund of knowledge. Two of our most popular leaders: Kev Reynolds Kev is a Photojournalist, Lecturer and Freelance Guidebook Author of 43 books. Kev truly has walked the world and is the first Honorary Member of the British Association of European Mountain Leaders. Winky O'Neale Winky has been climbing and hill-walking since 1972, making the first British female ascent of Baljuri (5,950m) and Panwali Dwar (6,500m) in Gangotri, India. A highly experienced leader, Winky leads our Tour du Mont Blanc and the Definitive Walkers Haute Route in the Swiss Alps. Our new officeEarly in 2010 we moved into our spacious new offices in the centre of Wotton under Edge, right on the Cotswold Way! If you're thinking of taking a trip with Mountain Kingdoms why not come and visit us to talk ideas through with a member of the team. If you're planning to take a Tailor Made trip you can also take advantage of our special B&B offer. See page 6 for details. Travel show Every year we attend the Times Destinations Holiday & Travel Show at Earls Court. The 2011 event takes place on 3rd-6th February and in 2011 we will also be exhibiting at the Destinations show at Birmingham NEC, 4th-6th March. Do make a note in your diary to come along and meet us at one of these great travel events. Pre-trip meets We offer four popular pre-trip meets for clients booked on a holiday with Mountain Kingdoms. These are a great way to meet fellow travellers and some of the Mountain Kingdoms team, and to ask any questions you may have. We have four 'meets' in the Cotswolds in 2011: Saturday 5th March Saturday 11th June Saturday 6th August Saturday 10th September We organise a 10-mile walk in the Cotswolds, ending at a local hostelry for tea, biscuits and a presentation. Full details of how to book your place/s will be sent with your dossier once you have booked your holiday, and includes a list of local B&Bs. Places are limited for each meet, so do book in early.
