I made mathsreally add up.85%of our students move on to further education.100% Pilton & ProudPupils receive comprehensive support and guidance during their time at Pilton, helping them to make decisions about which courses or careers they would like to pursue when they leave us. Throughout Years 7 and 8 they are given opportunities to explore their strengths and interests, and are encouraged to think about the future. In Year 9, each student receives an individual interview to discuss their aspirations and help choose their options. In Year 10, they all go on a week's work experience placement to gain real-world experience. They are then well-supported in Year 11 as they make all-important decisions about their next steps. Connexions is available to guide and provide information, as are a number of professionals both within the school and those involved with post-16 education.
