Several times a year, the timetable is suspended and students learn about a variety of topics such as citizenship and enterprise education. A wide range of members of the local business community work with us to support careers education, inspiring students to think about the opportunities they will have once their formal education is complete. Pilton students put these skills to good use by the significant amount of charity fundraising they do. They have supported causes such as breast cancer, children's hospices, local charity Amigos, and Fair Trade. As they show their ingenuity in raising money for good causes, they more than measure up to their teachers' expectations; they show all of us why we are so proud of them.
