www.sunway-safaris.comADVENTURE EXPERTSWe've been running safaris in Southern Africa for 18 years. This operational experience is reflected in our attention to detail. When you join a Sunway safari you can be secure in the knowledge that you're in capable hands.Wholesome meals:We create three scrumptious meals per day, as specified in the itinerary, from lunch on the day of departure until breakfast on the last day of your tour. Good healthy meals make happy travellers! The tour leaders do all the shopping and meal planning for each group and will try to obtain fresh produce wherever possible. A cooler box is provided for your drinks. On several nights we sample the fare at local restaurants, which because of individual tastes, will be own expense.Limited participation: Part of a Sunway trip is getting involved in general camp duties, it's all part of your adventure. The guides will provide assistance, but an essential part of your safari is participation - from putting up your tent (on camping safaris) or packing away in the morning to helping with meal preparation, such as chopping tomatoes for the salad or stirring a pot. The group will help do dishes on a rotation basis - when everyone puts in a little effort the trip will run smoothly.Local Payments:A local payment is required on each Sunway safari and this is col-lected by your tour leader on departure. This covers a portion of local operational costs including fuel, locally purchased food supplies, entrance and park fees. This ensures that a portion of your tour price goes directly into the country you are visiting, benefiting local communities and contributing to the conservation of the area.Repeat discount:There is a 5% discount available to repeat clients, so if you have travelled with Sunway before and are considering another Sunway safari, remember to tell your original booking agent when you book again.Combining tours:If you have more time and want to extend your safari in Southern Africa it is possible to combine certain itineraries. These departures are highlighted on each itinerary. For example you can combine a South Africa tour with a Cape to Victoria Falls trip and have a continuous 40 day safari in Southern Africa. Remember that your second tour will qualify for the 5% repeat client discount!Dossiers:This brochure gives the essential tour information. You can find more details on each itinerary on www.sunway-safaris.com. You can also download a comprehensive tour dossier from the website. This general tour dossier includes details from a suggested packing list to which border posts we cross. If you have any questions, please ask. 9ADVENTURE EXPERTS4ADVENTURE EXPERTSYour Safari Vehicle: All of our vehicles are bought new and serviced by Toyota and Mercedes agents, thus ensuring trouble free touring with backup support in practically every town in Southern Africa.Trucks: African conditions are incredibly diverse and we travel in custom built safari vehicles that allow us to be completely self sufficient on safari.
