We embark on our Croatia sailing experience from Split harbour around lunch time and sail to our first overnight stop, Milna. There may be an option to enjoy dinner or a barbecue on board our ship or head to one of the local restaurants. (L) Day 2 Milna to Hvar. Early in the morning we continue our cruise towards Hvar, stopping to swim in the stunning water along the way. Hvar is the longest island in the Adriatic and one of Croatia's hotspots. The city offers plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes that are open long into the night. We could walk up to visit the Spanish Fortress or head straight to Hula Hula Beach for water sports and chill out time. Party into the early morning if we want! (B,L) Day 3 Hvar to Korcula. This morning we depart for Korcula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. Another sailing day with swim stops on the way. Once at Korcula why not visit Marco Polo's house before a sunset cocktail at Massimos cocktail bar, built in the turret of a 15th century tower, where we climb a ladder and our drinks come up by pulley! (B,L)Day 4 Korcula to Dubrovnik. After breakfast we depart for Dubrovnik. Enjoy the beautiful sights on the way to the city that George Bernard Shaw called 'heaven on earth'. Once in Dubrovnik take a walk through Stradun - a promenade and square or for those with a bit more energy, walk along the top of the 1940m long city walls! (B,L) Day 5 Dubrovnik to Mljet. An early morning departure for Mljet. Late afternoon is ours to explore the salt lakes in the National Park by foot, bicycle or scooter. Enjoy the sun and sea on this peaceful island. Tonight there may be an option to enjoy dinner or a BBQ on board our ship and chill after the night out in Dubrovnik last night! (B,L) Day 6 Mljet to Makarska. From Mljet we sail across the Makarska Riviera located on the coast of mainland Croatia. Spend the afternoon swimming at one of the many beautiful beaches on the Adriatic. Tonight we stay in the port of Makarska, one of the most attractive resorts on the Croatian coast. (B,L) Day 7 Makarska to Split. Today we journey back to Split, via Omis. There is an option to go white water rafting. Split is a UNESCO World Heritage city, and has an abundance of Roman architecture including Diocletian's Palace. Tonight is our last night together that we can spend out in Split or on our boat. (B,L) Day 8 Split. Our trip finishes today in Split and after an early breakfast it is time to say goodbye to the crew and farewell to our travelling companions. (L) Day 2 Jelsa/Stari Grad to Hvar. This morning we stop at off at Hvar Town, one of Croatia's hotspots. Hvar offers plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes that are open long into the night. We could walk up to visit the Spanish Fortress or head straight to Hula Hula Beach for water sports and chill out time. Party into the early morning if we want! (B,L) Day 3 Hvar to Vis. Vis is one of the outer-lying islands on the Dalmatian coast and because of this it is not as frequently visited by tourists or as developed. Weather permitting we visit the Blue Caves, a cave system which has a beautiful natural phenomenon owing to the colour of the water and the light. Overnight in Vis. (B,L)Day 4 Vis to Vela Luka. Onwards to our first stop on the island of Korcula, Vela Luka. Vela Luka is set in a wide bay surrounded by many coves and slopes covered with vineyards, olive trees, fig trees and pine. It is also well known for its history of klape singing, an acappella style of singing that we may hear playing in the restaurants this evening. (B,L)Day 5 Vela Luka to Korcula.
