After meeting our fellow travellers, enjoy seeing Paris by night on the 'City Lights' tour! (D)Day 2 Paris. A free day today to explore the incredible French capital. Finish the day with Topdeck's unique Paris Gourmet Picnic beside the Eiffel Tower, and, in the evening we have the chance to see an authentic French Cabaret. (B,D)Day 3 Paris. Another full day to enjoy Paris. Explore the winding streets of Le Marais or wander up the Champs-Élysées. Perhaps take a cruise down the Seine River. (B)Day 4 Paris to Bayeux, Normandy. Before we hit the beaches of Normandy today we visit Camembert, where of course we get to taste their delicious cheese! Tonight we stay in the charming town of Bayeux. (B)Day 5 Bayeux to Loire Valley. Today we visit Mont St-Michel, one of France's most incredible attractions. After the walk up to the abbey, we head off to the Loire Valley. Tonight we have the chance to stay in a château! (B,D)Day 6 Loire Valley to Bordeaux. This morning we can visit the famous Château de Chambord. We then make a stopover in the Cognac region before travelling to Bordeaux for the night. (B,D)Day 7 Bordeaux, day trip to Saint Emilion. Today we see why Bordeaux and the surrounding region is so famous. There is nothing quite like French wine. (B)Day 8 Bordeaux to Carcassonne. On to Carcassonne today. Enjoy a brief orientation tour about the history of this stunning town and the walls that have made it famous. (B,D)Day 9 Carcassonne to French Riviera, an evening trip to Monaco. First up is the unbelievable ancient Roman Pont du Gard aqueduct, then we arrive in the celeb hotspot of Cote d'Azur. Tonight it's off to Monaco where we can try our luck at one of the many casinos. (B,D)Day 10 French Riviera. We have a day free today to either hit the famous beaches of the French Riviera, or wear those soles down by doing some hardcore shopping. (B)Day 11 French Riviera to Lyon. Today we leave the Côte d'Azur and head to the city of Avignon, once home to the papacy. Then to Lyon, France's third largest city, and perhaps its culinary capital. (B)Day 12 Lyon to Annecy, French Alps. Time this morning to spend exploring the city of Lyon. Take in the breathtaking scenery as we head to Annecy in the French Alps. (B) Day 13 Annecy, French Alps. Today is a free day in the Alps. Enjoy the view of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the the European Union, from one of Europe's most beautiful lakes, or just revel in the atmosphere from the shore! Tonight we have our farewell dinner. (B,D)Day 14 Annecy to Paris. Today it's back to Paris where we say 'au revoir' to our new friends.
