51 The TrekAmerica WinterSun programme consists of twelve trips in the USA - five BLT's plus seven adventures based on some of our most popular summer itineraries. These winter tours have been adapted with additional hotels, lodge and ranch stays and activities that are best done ( or only done) in the winter. We look forward to showing you America without the crowds. On the road, you may visit cities and beaches or the great national parks and wilderness areas of America, and TrekAmerica offers more included attractions and activities than anyone else. Cowboy camps and Navajo Indian stays, city sightseeing tours and numerous hiking opportunities are only a few of the exciting activities that TrekAmerica includes in the price. We strive to give our clients the opportunity to see and do more on tour but with fewer extra costs along the way. While the Grand Canyon National Park is too cold to camp in the winter, the daytime temperatures in the canyon are far more comfortable for hiking than during the heat of the summer.
