Food is purchased from a kitty to which each member of the group pays US$ 10 per day en- route. In September 2009, we sponsored ten employee volunteers to assist Grand Canyon National Park rangers with clearing intrusive vegetation along the scenic roads to help improve the visitor experience and allow for better wildlife viewing opportunities. tourism Cares Tourism Cares is a non- profit organization dedicated to preserving the travel experience for future generations by awarding grants and organizing volunteer efforts to restore tourism- related sites worldwide. After Hurricane Katrina, TrekAmerica sponsored seven employees to clean up historic Louis Armstrong Park in New Orleans.
