In the frame Travel Zambia November 2007 The Spirit of the Land The Spirit of the Land project is a personal take on Zambia’s more remote landscapes by nature photographer Stephen Robinson. His images are all captured in a panoramic format and presented full frame, without cropping or enlargement. The aim is to convey the ‘feel’ of a subject by replicating the way in which the human eye explores it. Stephen’s unerring eye for colour and texture, often in unexpected places, challenges us to look again at the world around us. The project is informed by a desire to raise awareness of Zambia’s threatened natural resources and has been premiered in three major exhibitions.
