The Masai Mara is just one of the many places in Kenya where visitors can get up close and personal with Africa's big cats, ranging from lounging lions and curious cheetahs to more elusive felines like leopard, serval and caracal. Other hotspots include Nairobi National Park where, in August 2008, the Kenya Wildlife Service and Friends of the Nairobi National Park celebrated the return of lions and other big cats.
