K enya Airways received further peer recognition last December when it came second in the 2008 EAMRC ( East Africa's Most Respected Company) survey, run by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Nation Media Group. The buses, each with space for 115 passengers, are being used to shuttle passengers between JKIA's departure lounges and aircraft, facilitating the safe and rapid transfer of passengers through the airport. As Kenya Airways Chief Executive Offi cer, Titus Naikuni said: " The opening of new remote parking bays away from the airport terminal buildings has made the buses an absolute necessity," adding that third- party airlines contracted to KQ will also benefi t from the new transfer arrangements. in Kampala.
