Welcome 2 F O R R E S E R V A T I O N S C A L L U S O N 0845 130 6982 We are delighted to bring you some exiting new additions to our portfolio for 2008. With the huge increase in popularity of whale-watching over the years you will see that in addition to whalewatching in Canada, Australia, South Africa and the Polar Regions, for 2008 we have brought back by popular demand our whale-watching holidays to Mexico giving you the chance to visit Magdalena Bay, and the Sea of Cortez for some of the world’s very best whale-watching opportunities. If you want to see Blue Whales, then probably your best opportunity is to visit the Mingan Island Cetacean Study Centre in Canada’s Quebec Province and join one of our study weeks in the summer. Keeping with whales and the watery theme we have greatly expanded our Wildlife Cruising section, with a whole new range of voyages not only to the Polar Regions but also to the Amazon, Papua New Guinea, the Russian Far East and Australia. We have also changed our layout and at your request, put in far more information about the vessels that we are working with. Blue Whales are iconic. They are the largest animal ever to have lived, and at up to 30 metres in length and weighing up to 150 tonnes are bigger even than any dinosaur… but can you really see them in the wild? The exciting and remote mountain kingdom of Nepal has returned as a destination in its own right within the brochure as we are finding it has become increasingly popular – especially in combination with India. Finally, we are immensely proud to have been presented with the Wanderlust Tour Operator of the Year 2007 Award. This was voted for by the readers of this leading travel magazine who have travelled with Wildlife Worldwide. They obviously enjoyed their experience with us, and we are sure you will too! Welcome to our world, welcome to Wildlife Worldwide. Chris Breen |
