Of particular note is the opening up of the eastern country ofMozambique as a safari destination.Zambia's South Luangwa is becoming moreaccessible in the rains -a wonderful time tosee nurseries of tottering impala, birds inbright breeding plumage and increasedpredator action. Namibia remains aspectacular self-drive destination and newcamps along the Caprivi have made possiblean excellent two week self-drive safari.Finally, many of the islands we feature inTanzania, Mozambique and Madagascarare nesting sites for turtles. What better wayto finish a trip to Africa than on a sandybeach littered with turtle tracks?
