The Cape RegionThe Cape Region is home to scenic vineyards and a stunning coastline. Table Mountain standsproudly over the iconic Cape Town, a beautifulcity where you can easily spend four dayssightseeing and exploring the Cape Peninsula.Nearby, the Winelands are a series of prettyvalleys covered in a patchwork quilt of wineestates, with quaint towns and excellentrestaurants. Along the coast, Walker Bay is filled with pods of southern right whales, whichcome within yards of the shore between June and November. The Garden Route & Eastern CapeSteep sand dunes, crashing surf and picturesquetowns make up the Garden Route, an area idealfor traversing by car over several days. Enjoy boattrips along a lagoon to the Knysna Heads, watchdolphins in the surf at Plettenberg Bay, and take a walk through the arboreal giants of theTsitsikamma Forest. Moving further east, you willreach an abundance of malaria-free national parksand game reserves. Spend a few days on safariwatching herds of elephants roaming the plainsand big cats hunting their prey.
