Kruger National Park Situated in the northeast of the country, theKruger National Park spreads across a huge area,equivalent to the size of Belgium. The Sabi Sand WildtuinThe Sabi Sand Wildtuin is a private game reservebordering the western edge of Kruger NationalPark. Wildlife moves freely between the two andthe animals here are very relaxed around vehicles.Two rivers run through the reserve and theriverine bushveld is an ideal habitat for leopard, so sightings of these graceful cats are particularlyhigh. Aside from leopard, sightings of lion, rhino,elephant, buffalo, hyena and plains game such aswaterbuck and kudu are frequent here, makingfor exciting game viewing.
