Dear TravellerWelcome to the Spring edi on of Traveller magazine. As many of you know, Vietnam was our rst des na on and one that I'm well acquainted with. On page 50 there is a fascina ng interview with Howard Limbert who led the expedi on team that discovered the world's biggest cave in Phong Nha-Ke Bang Na onal Park in 2010. Howard believes that there is so much more to uncover in the area, which makes me long to revisit one of my favourite coun ies.Another fascina ng story in the issue is that of Vicky Roy. Born to ex emely poor parents in West Bengal, Vicky is now a talented photographer and leads photography tours around Delhi. You can read more about Vicky's story, accompanied by his s iking images, on page 12.I thoroughly enjoyed reading John and Jo's accounts of some of the experiences to be had along the route of the Trans-Siberian Railway (p21) - it's a journey I've always longed to take and seeing it through their eyes got me that li le bit closer. Last but not least, there are your avel stories (p43) - including wonderful shots of Madagascar's compelling wildlife and lucky encounters with Yala's resident leopards in Sri Lanka. Keep them coming.Best wishes,Craig BurkinshawFounder Director Cover: Portrait of a Peruvian lady 24Digital Dispatches: Tribes of NamibiaLearning about the adi ons and lives of the Himba and San bushmen ibes26Tanzania and ZanzibarAn east A ican safari through the eyes of a rst mer 30Southeast Asia by boatNavigate the waterways through Vietnam, ailand, Laos and Burma34U SA and Canada Discover the coast, Mara mes, mountains and colours at their very best38Experts' Guide: Andes e many facets of this fantas c South American mountain range43Over to youYour avel tales om Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Peru and Japan; Q&A and we chat to cave expert Howard Limbert26Watch elephants and other wildlife on a safari in TanzaniaNew Mill, New Mill Lane, Witney, Oxfordshire OX29 9SXTelephone: 01993 838 000, Website: holidays featured in this magazine are ATOL Protected (4817).All prices quoted are subject to change.Designed by Wanderlust Travel MediaPrinted at Ancient House Press ,21Crossing the country on the Trans-Siberian
